Clinical simulation with AI

Simulate 10,000 patients before protocol lock

QuantHealth simulates compound behavior across diverse virtual patients, helping clinical teams choose the dose, cohort, and design most likely to produce a readout.

Optimal Standard Conservative 75% 50% 25% 0 Low Mid High 10,247 simulated patients
~50% Phase 2 has the highest attrition rate across indications (Hay et al., Nature Biotechnology)
$1.5B+ Average capitalized development cost for programs that miss NDA or BLA submission
~40% Published failure analyses link Phase 2 terminations to efficacy gaps from dose selection or enrollment criteria as primary contributors
The Problem

Most protocol failures can be anticipated before they appear

Trial design depends on literature priors and expert judgment months before screening starts. When a weak assumption emerges, the cost is measured in years and substantial capital.

Dose selection favors average responders and misses the subgroup driving effect size
Enrollment criteria too narrow or too broad
Endpoints and analyses underpowered for real-world variance

Three steps from compound data to a ranked protocol

01

Compound data in

You provide a mechanism summary, available PK parameters, prior study summaries, and indication. QuantHealth maps them to the relevant disease module and calibrates virtual patients to your compound class.

02

Simulation engine runs

Thousands of virtual patients, parameterized from published population pharmacology and real-world evidence, run through proposed dose scenarios. The Bayesian hierarchical model carries uncertainty through each parameter and reports credible intervals, not only point estimates.

03

Ranked design output

You receive a P(success) heatmap across dose and enrichment scenarios, responder subgroup stratification, and ranked protocol recommendations with an evidence trail for each. Outputs support regulatory discussion at pre-IND and end-of-Phase-2 meetings.

Where simulation makes a difference

Dose optimization

Find the dose that maximizes response in your target population while controlling adverse event probability, without relying on compound analogue assumptions.

Patient stratification

Find the subgroup driving efficacy before enrollment, focusing inclusion criteria without giving up generalizability.

Endpoint and power analysis

Evaluate primary and secondary endpoint sensitivity across simulated population variance, identifying under-powered analyses before the trial protocol locks.

Ten thousand patient simulations revealed a subgroup response pattern we had missed in retrospective literature review. We revised the dosing arm, and the Phase II interim held up. That level of pre-trial clarity seemed impossible six months earlier.
